1. INTRODUCTION
This specification covers the requirement for application of 1.0 mm FH Plug and Receptacle Connectors for
surface mount printed circuit (pc) board applications. These plug and receptacle connectors have solder tines
spaced on 1 mm [.039 in.] centers and are available in (IEEE Standard) 64- or optional 84-position versions. The
connectors can be positioned by hand or by robotic equipment and are designed for board stacking applications
that have 8 stacking heights from 8.0 mm [.315 in.] to 15.0 mm [.591 in.].
