1 Introduction
This application note demonstrates the FXOS8700CQ
vector-magnitude function for both the accelerometer
and magnetometer with use-case examples. Use cases
where this application note is useful include:
Accelerometer vector-magnitude function:
• Detection of linear acceleration exceeding a
threshold
• Detection of change of tilt angle exceeding a
threshold.
Magnetometer vector-magnitude function:
• Detection of magnetic jamming.
